Visit Napa Valley Hires New Marketing, Sales & Customer Experience Teams

Brice Gosnell has been appointed Director of Marketing for Visit Napa Valley, one of five appointments announced by the travel agency.

Gosnell, who the agency says will oversee Visit Napa Valley’s new brand campaign in the fall, was the Americas Head for Australia-based Luxury Escapes, where he led initiatives to grow the business. on the continent. He was also previously VP of Brand Marketing at Travana, a startup focused on sustainable travel, and spent nearly nine years at Lonely Planet as head of global content, digital publishing and marketing for the Brand.

In addition, the group has appointed a new director of business development and sales. Rebecca Merry-Barrango returns to Visit Napa Valley where she worked for eight years. Now tasked with helping promote “Napa Valley’s premier wine, food, art and wellness attractions to entertainment and group markets around the world,” Merry-Barrango previously worked in sales with the San Diego Tourism Authority and United Airlines.

She graduated from Chico State University.

Jackie Simion also joins the agency. She will occupy the position of director of the executive office. Simion most recently served as Special Projects Advisor for Chahil Global Marketing and Innovations Advisory, where she gained experience in administrative operations supporting a global team and multiple clients.

The other new hires are customer experience associates.

Lily Shindle will assist visitors while providing retail support for the Napa Valley Welcome Center Mercantile store, the group said. She joins Visit Napa Valley from the Four Sisters Inn, where she was a front desk assistant and concierge.

His experience also includes coordinating weddings and events for Cass Vineyard and Winery, as well as serving on the inaugural working group of the Pacific Hospitality Group, which operates the Meritage Resort & Spa and Vista Collina Resort & Spa.

Shindle graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo.

Lauren Turigliatto, who will also work at the Napa Valley Welcome Center, was most recently Deputy Director of Magic Memories.

Turigliatto is a graduate of the State of San Francisco and the University of Bournemouth.
