Print and marketing agency Datum Creative Media, based in Cuffley, Hertfordshire, has announced the acquisition of design firm Barley Agency to produce more effective work for the needs and marketing campaigns of its clients.
Barley, also based in Barley, Hertfordshire, will help Datum deliver a wider range of creative services and expand its digital management and print capabilities. After an initial conversation to discuss a potential acquisition, the deal was quickly closed within a matter of weeks, showing that the move is a perfect fit for both companies.
Scott Pearce, Managing Partner at Datum Creative Media, said: “We are delighted to announce that Barley Agency has joined the Datum family. We’ve known the company for over 20 years now, and we’re confident that Barley’s talented developers and designers will play an important role in moving our business forward.
The new expanded team will offer clients a number of different on-site studio services. Creative and digital offerings include website branding, design, animation, CGI and UI/UX.
Peace added: “Ultimately, this is an exciting new chapter for Datum. We have onboarded all Barley employees. Their experience will enable us to offer a range of creative marketing services to our clients.
“We are also delighted to share our studio at Sópers House in Cuffley. This will allow us to work in collaboration, both with colleagues and with customers.
