Co-Lin’s Sales and Marketing Management Program Transitions to HyFlex Format
NATCHEZ – Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s business and marketing management program will transition to a HyFlex teaching format from January 2022. HyFlex combines the terms “hybrid” and “flexible,” which means students can choose how they attend class each week. In this new format, students in the Business and Marketing Management program can choose to participate in class each week in one of three ways: attending face-to-face classes on the Co-Lin Natchez campus, participating in – face-to-face via videoconference (Zoom), or participate entirely online via Canvas. All students will achieve the same learning goals, regardless of the format chosen.
“This is an exciting opportunity for the Marketing and Business Management program,” said Brent Duguid, Dean of Vocational, Technical and Workforce Education. “For the first time, students will be offered flexible options to attend class in the way that best fits their schedule each week. We understand that circumstances are constantly changing and we believe it is the right decision as we work to meet students where they are.
The transition to a HyFlex format means that students from outside the Natchez area can now be part of the program wherever they are, as they can attend entirely online or attend face-to-face course sessions. via Zoom.
